WHAT IS REIKI?
Reiki is defined as a Natural Method of Healing.
Reiki is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If the "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more likely to be happy and healthy.
Reiki is a method of hands-on healing that helps to stimulate and accelerate the body's own natural healing ability. How? Through calming the mind and raising the life force energy.
In a Reiki treatment, the Reiki healer will help to raise the person's life force energy through the use of different hand positions with the healing energies being ‘channeled’ by the Reiki practitioner. These energies then help to clear away and release blockages so that any old or unwanted energies can be safely released from the body.

An alternative to being physically present and still receiving the same benefits.
During a distance Reiki session, where you are at home in any part of the world and I am at my practice, I’m connecting to your energy in the same way as I would if you were here and channeling the energy into your energy field. The energy works the same way as in person.
There is no separation between you and me in the healing space. For most people who have distance Reiki, they feel everything as if they would in person and this is always a surprise for them!
I want to encourage more people to try distance Reiki because it’s an experience! It’s definitely worth trying!
